Designed by Dutch and Russian architects the Olympic
Star is the largest sports and health center on the territory of Russia.
On the extensive territory of 15,000 sq m there are ultra modern halls
for aerobics an choreography, well equipped gyms, indoor and outdoor
tennis courts, playing grounds, squash courts, swimming pools, Turkish
and Russian steam baths, Finnish saunas, beauty parlors, solariums and
many more. The unique complex is situated in the ecological park area.
The
Olympic Star offers an invigorating range of services and facilities
catering for all age groups and fitness levels. Step, slide, dance aerobics
(jazz, body ballet, Latina, etc.), boxing, kickboxing, aikido, karate
and yoga are just some of the classes available. The club was planned
as a place for family rest, so it suites to members of all levels of
ability and there is undoubtedly something on offer for all. Catering
for children is one of center's top priorities, which is why there is
a special Olimpopo Club to keep children busy while their parents explore
the wonders of the giant health center. The Olimpopo has its own timetable
of activities and runs children fitness programs, games, choreography
classes and Montessori training program.
The spacious 650 sq.m. gym of the Olympic Star boasts
state-oft-the-art cardiovascular and resistance equipment, as well as
a giant trainer imitating rock-climbing and cardio theatre for 40 machines.
The aqua zone of the Olympic Star includes 25-meter
swimming pool with 4 lanes, as well a pool with a counter flow and Jacuzzi.
There water aerobics lessons including training on special machines
and synchronised swimming classes are held.
On the first level of the fitness center there are
all kinds of entertainments the modern citizen may think of - bowling
with 6 tracks, Russian billiards and American pool, virtual golf and
gambling machines. To sum it up the Olympic Star is a perfect place
where everyone is welcome to come with family, friends or colleagues
to work out, relax and most importantly, have fun in friendly surrounding.
