President Hotel

In 1982 on the bank of the Moscow River, in the administrative and business center of Moscow, the new 14-story building of the Oktyabrskaya Hotel appeared. In 1992 the hotel was renamed President Hotel. Almost at once the perfectly equipped hotel became popular with numerous foreign delegations and businesspeople.

For more than 20 years of its existence the President Hotel has welcomed heads of many states, political leaders and prime ministers as well as outstanding scientists, artists and actors. Among them one could mention Mikhail Gorbachev, Albert Gore, Fidel Castro, Boris Eltsin, Leonid Kuchma, the patriarch of all Russia Aleksey II and many others.

Thanks to the effective security system, unique technical equipment and high standards of services the President Hotel regularly houses the largest governmental arrangements, intergovernmental and interparliamentary commissions, informal meetings and many other prestigious events.

The President Hotel supervised by the Russian Federation President Administrative Department has been awarded, more than once, as the Best Congress Hotel of Moscow.
