Practically each culture has its rich sauna traditions.
The ancient Greeks and Romans visited therms, the Scythians constructed
steam bath huts, in Turkey there were hammam baths and the Aztecs had
their unique steam houses. One can get familiarized with sauna traditions
of different countries at the Wellnes Saunas Gallery.
The unique complex features a number of different
hydrotherapy treatments including sauna, steam baths, whirlpool baths
and famous Ofuro. Each hall is designed in the style of the country
it represents. In the Russian hall one can enjoy a traditional sweat
out with a bundle of leafy birch twigs that not only help the steam
do its cleanings but at the same time leave the gentle fragrance of
birch on your skin and in the room. The visitors of the Japanese Hall
will find themselves in the refined atmosphere of a Sento. The Greek
Hall represents therms visiting of which, the Ancient Greeks were convinced,
guarantees robust health and eternal youth. Designed in Gothic style
the Meditarrenian Hall features a steam room, Jacuzzi and a pool. The
Modern, that is largest hall, can seat a company of eight and is equipped
with classic sauna, large swimming pool and billiards. All halls feature
karaoke and satellite TV.
With a comprehensive range of health and beauty treatments,
state-of-the-art facilities and exceptional service the Wellness Saunas
Gallery makes for an experience that you'll not soon forget.
